In 1958, my dad bought the Max Sagner Nash dealership on 15th and East Burnside (Portland, Oregon) and renamed it Olson Rambler Center.  He conducted business there until 1963, when he bought an Oldsmobile dealership in Gladstone, Oregon.  The Max Sagner building now houses an art supply store.  Erik Olson, Seattle WA.

I worked for Max Sagner many years back. Max Sagner had the Nash dealership on 15th and East Burnside from 1954 to 1957. He retained ownership of the block long sales lot across Burnside street from the dealership for many years. Still owned it in the early 1970's when I worked for him. The Max Sagner Nash building became Jarvis Jeep in the mid 1960's and later was Portland Jeep.     Randy Copenhaver, Portland OR.

1957   Ed Tonkin Motors SE Grand Ave - Morrison St Portland OR  

There was a Kaiser Frazer dealership on NE Grand Ave., Ed Tonkin Motors. After Kaisers were no longer available in 1955, Ed Tonkin changed to Mercury for a year and then for one year only - 1957 - became a Nash dealer. His son in 1961 opened Ron Tonkin Chevrolet and now his sons own a dozen dealerships. Ed Tonkin's other son had a Mercury dealership in 1960-60 and a Ford dealership from 1968 to 1978 (I worked there for several years, 1973-74).
